T-Mobile LG G7 ThinQ begins receiving July 2018 Android security patch

Yesterday, seven days after Google released the July 2018 Android security patch for all Pixel smartphones and the Nexus 5X and 6P, the T-Mobile-branded LG G7 ThinQ begun receiving the latest security patch too.

As with Google’s smartphones, the security update resolves various vulnerabilities found within the operating system, with perhaps the biggest removed flaw being one found within the media framework.
